Artist's Description
File# 0908 Tail art on a Blue Angel Boeing F/A-18C Hornet taken in 2008 at Farmingdale, LI, NY - USA
The 'Blue Angels', a small flying team in 1946 evolved into one the U.S. Navy's most powerful public relations and recruiting tools.
The members of any Blue Angel team are not long-term air show pros. That is the difference - and impressiveness - of what they demonstrate. They are contemporary naval aviation men and women who come from fleet units to proudly dispaly the continuing teamwork, discipline, and precision of U.S. naval aviation. When spectators leave the air show, they may not remember each team member's name, but young or old, they remember the gleaming blue-and-gold airplanes in precise formation maneuvers, the gold-lettered "U.S. Navy" on those planes - and the name Blue Angels..... Bill Newman, Rear Admiral USN (Retired) Blue Angel number one, 1978 - 1979

About John Schneider
I have found that there are only three stages in a mans life..... Baggy butt toddler, firm butt junior thru to the ever popular 50's ( trust me the sports car doesn't firm the butt, just adds to debt) and lastly... Baggy butt senior to match baggy butt grandson. Life in a nutshell, please enjoy the photographs. Please do not PIN images to any website.
