Artist's Description

File# 0862 Driver side front half details. Corvette almost didn't survive in its third year. The Corvette needed power and Chevy's hot new small-block V8 was the answer. The 265cid, 195bhp V8 was shoehorned into the 'vette after notching the frame on the right side to clear the fuel pump. Still, bad news, only about 700 units found a home, making the '55 one of the rarest Vettes ever. [2010.01.07]

About John Schneider

John Schneider

I have found that there are only three stages in a mans life..... Baggy butt toddler, firm butt junior thru to the ever popular 50's ( trust me the sports car doesn't firm the butt, just adds to debt) and lastly... Baggy butt senior to match baggy butt grandson. Life in a nutshell, please enjoy the photographs. Please do not PIN images to any website.
