File# 0687 The Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk, a personal sport coupe sold between 1962 and 1964, was the final development of the Studebaker Hawk series that began with the Golden Hawk of 1956. This 1964 GT Hawk is equipped with the R1 V8 engine, originally used in the Studebaker Avanti, delivering 240bhp (180kW).
Studebaker ceased production at its South Bend IN factory, including all GT Hawk production, on December 20, 1963.... 1484 domestic units and 283 export models were sold.
