Argentina, Columbia and Mexico received Ducks in the 1930s and 1940s.
Between 1942 and 1945, US Navy and Marine Ducks rescued downed aircrew from the battle of Guadalcanal.
A J2F-5 and five J2F-6s were operated by the USAF as OA-12s for air-sea rescue.
